In the curriculum, participants will learn strategies for tracking expenses and practice developing a budget. Participants will develop a food budget using the Thrifty Food Plan.

Agent Elizabeth Baker from Bertie county is hosting a Getting to Know SNAP/FNS group session on October 26. The curriculum teaches participants about SNAP in North Carolina, including general program information, myths, benefits of participating, eligibility and how to apply. 

Join us on January 16 at Brier Cliff Elementary School for a fun event where we will distribute some of our materials and discuss SNAP/FNS in North Carolina.

At this fair, participants will have the opportunity to healthy living habits, community resources and get free health screenings. Join us as our agent and staff discuss SNAP/FNS in North Carolina.
