More In My Basket staff will present the Developing a Household Food Budget curriculum to discuss budgeting for your family and the Supplemental Assistance Nutrition Program (SNAP). In the curriculum, participants will learn strategies for tracking expenses and practice developing a budget. Participants will develop a food budget using the Thrifty Food Plan.
More In My Basket staff will present the Getting to Know SNAP/FNS in North Carolina curriculum on the Supplemental Assistance Nutrition Program (SNAP). For this curriculum, participants will learn about SNAP, including general program information, myths, benefits of participating, eligibility, and how to apply.
