Going grocery shopping has changed since the world pandemic in 2020. Making purchases of all kinds online has become more of the norm nowadays and can be very helpful when a busy schedule gets in the way of your precious time.

What you may not know is that you can also do some online grocery shopping with your SNAP benefits. The following stores in North Carolina accept SNAP online through your EBT card number:

  • ALDI

  • BJs Wholesale Club
  • Carlie C’s
  • Compare Foods
  • Compare Foods Clayton
  • Deep Roots Market

Your EBT card will not cover expenses related to delivery, tips, and some stores may require a certain minimum amount for orders made online. Your total purchase amount may also vary if product item substitutions are in place. Also make sure to check that all items placed in your shopping cart are eligible to be purchased through the SNAP program. You can find a list of non-eligible items here: https://www.fns.usda.gov/snap/eligible-food-items

Take advantage of this wonderful benefit in the comfort of your own home. Online shopping can make a huge difference in how you optimize your time.
